Prepare Cupcakes
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter, then add the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Soak Cupcakes
- While the cupcakes are baking, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk in a bowl.
- Once the cupcakes are done, let them cool for 5 minutes, then poke holes in each cupcake with a toothpick.
- Slowly pour the milk mixture over the warm cupcakes, allowing them to soak up the liquid.
Prepare Topping
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Top each cupcake with whipped cream and sprinkle with ground cinnamon before serving.
