Ingredients
  

Savory Sandwiches
  • 4 slices white bread crusts removed
  • 4 slices cucumber thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
Mini Scones
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
Fruit Tartlets
  • 1 package pre-made pastry shells
  • 1 cup pastry cream store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
Tea
  • 4 cups water for brewing
  • 4 teaspoons black tea leaves or 4 tea bags

Method
 

Prepare Savory Sandwiches
  1. Spread cream cheese on one side of each slice of bread. Layer cucumber slices and sprinkle with dill. Top with another slice of bread and cut into quarters.
Bake Mini Scones
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until just combined. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
Assemble Fruit Tartlets
  1. Fill each pastry shell with pastry cream and top with mixed berries. Arrange on a serving platter.
Brew Tea
  1. Boil water and steep tea leaves or tea bags for 5 minutes. Serve hot with the food.
