Steak
  • 1 pound ribeye steak or your preferred cut
Eggs
  • 8 large eggs fresh
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Method

Cook the Steak
  1. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Once the skillet is hot, place the steak in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Cook the Eggs
  1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and crack the eggs into the skillet. Cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.).
  2. Season the eggs with salt and pepper while cooking.
Serve
  1. Slice the rested steak and serve alongside the cooked eggs on a plate.
  2. Enjoy your steak and eggs breakfast hot!
