Ingredients
  

Sauce Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup chicken broth or seafood stock
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce adjust to taste
Spices
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked or sweet
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
Citrus
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
  3. Whisk in the hot sauce, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon and lime juice.
