  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a round cake pan by greasing it with butter and sprinkling a bit of brown sugar evenly across the bottom.
  3. Arrange pineapple slices in the pan, placing a maraschino cherry in the center of each slice.
Batter Mixing
  1. Mix together the batter by combining flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth before blending them into the dry ingredients.
  2. Pour the batter gently over the arranged pineapples in the pan, making sure to cover them completely.
Baking
