Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or ground turkey
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning or homemade seasoning
  • 1 cup Refried Beans optional
Taco Assembly
  • 8 count Taco Shells hard or soft
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup Chopped Lettuce for topping
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes for topping
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning and refried beans. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Place taco shells in a baking dish.
  2. Fill each shell with the beef mixture and top with shredded cheese.
Bake and Serve
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  2. Remove from the oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream before serving.
