Chill and Churn
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- If you don't have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until it reaches a creamy consistency.
Add Mix-ins
- During the last few minutes of churning, add any optional mix-ins like chocolate chips, nuts, or berries.
- Once finished, transfer to a container and freeze for an additional 1-2 hours to firm up.
