Ingredients
  

Shrimp Marinade
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley.
Marinate the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare the Skewers
  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers.
Grill the Shrimp
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the shrimp skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are opaque and cooked through.
Serve
  1. Remove from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges and additional parsley if desired.
