Ingredients
  

  • 2 bags frozen cooked bite-size Italian meatballs about 1/2 ounce each; do not thaw
  • 1 bottle chili sauce such as Heinz (1 1/4 cups)
  • 1 jar Concord grape jelly such as Smucker’s (heaping 1 cup)
  • finely chopped fresh parsley leaves for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Place the frozen meatballs, chili sauce, and grape jelly in a slow cooker. Stir to combine and coat the meatballs with sauce.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or on LOW for 3 to 4 hours until heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
  3. For a thicker sauce, uncover the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes and stir occasionally.
  4. If serving from the slow cooker, turn to the warm setting. Otherwise, transfer the meatballs to a serving dish.
  5. Garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley leaves if desired.
