Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz spaghetti or any pasta of choice
Shrimp
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
Sauce
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
Combine and Serve
  1. Reduce heat to low, add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the shrimp. Pour in the lemon juice and remaining butter, tossing to combine.
  2. Stir in chopped parsley and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately.
