Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 4 cups fresh peaches sliced or canned peaches, drained
Topping
  • 1 cup self-rising flour can substitute with all-purpose flour and baking powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2% milk
Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Method
 

Prepare the Peaches
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a baking dish, add the sliced peaches and spread them evenly.
Make the Batter
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour, sugar, and milk. Mix until smooth.
  2. Pour the melted butter into the baking dish over the peaches, then pour the batter evenly over the butter.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Serve
  1. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with ice cream.

Notes
