  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Milk

Method

Cooking Directions
  1. Fill a frying pan with around 2 inches of oil and heat it to 350 degrees over medium heat.
  2. Fold the crescent dough in half in one direction, then fold in half in the other direction.
  3. Using a biscuit cutter or glass, cut about 3-inch circles from the dough. Then, cut 1-inch circles from the center of each 3-inch shape, reserving the 1-inch circles to cook as cronut holes.
  4. Gather up scraps, roll, and cut additional cronuts if possible.
  5. Fry the donuts for about 90 seconds on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and allow to cool before glazing.
  6. In a mixing bowl, mix powdered sugar, vanilla, and 1 tablespoon of milk to create the glaze. Add additional milk as needed for desired consistency.
  7. Split a cooled cronut in half and fill with 2 tablespoons of pudding, then replace the top.
  8. Drizzle the top with glaze and allow it to set before serving.
