  • 2 cups Broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup Bell pepper, diced
Proteins
  • 1 lb Ground turkey or chicken Can substitute with beans for vegetarian option
Grains
  • 2 cups Brown rice Cooked
Sauces and Seasonings
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Chop the broccoli, slice the carrots, and dice the bell pepper.
  2. If using ground turkey or chicken, ensure it is thawed and ready to cook.
Cook the Protein
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey or chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the chopped broccoli, sliced carrots, and diced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Combine with Rice
  1. Stir in the cooked brown rice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes to heat through.
