Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz Pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine) Use your favorite type of pasta.
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Extra virgin for best flavor.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp Black pepper Freshly ground.
  • 1 cup Fresh basil Chopped.
Topping
  • 8 oz Burrata cheese At room temperature.

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the halved cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
  3. Stir in the chopped basil and remove from heat.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  2. Transfer the pasta to a serving bowl and top with burrata cheese. Serve immediately, garnished with extra basil if desired.

Notes
