Ingredients
  

Beef Marinade
  • 1 pound beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon green onion chopped
Bowl Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked rice white or brown
  • 1 cup carrots julienned
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup spinach fresh
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Marinate the Beef
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, gochujang, and green onion. Add the sliced beef and mix well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Beef
  1. Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Prepare the Bowl
  1. In serving bowls, layer cooked rice, followed by cooked beef, carrots, bell pepper, and spinach.
  2. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish.
